Case study:                                                    Lily b, an independent women's wear boutique in Ilkley wanted an innovative launch show, which would set them apart from similar retailers in the area. As well as showing their range, Lily b also wanted to create an exclusive event, which would inspire their clients, build customer loyalty and add value. 

Typical local fashion shows lasted about an hour and a half and usually involved heavily choreographed scenes with the emphasis being on entertaining the audience.

To maximise post show sales and to minimise set up time, the show was in house. We created a distinctive personalised invitation and styled the event to appeal specifically to Lily b's target market. 

We wanted to make the Lily b event a sensual experience, therefore great emphasis was placed on stimulating all of the senses. Though the customer may not be directly aware, they subconsciously pick up on all the different elements, making for a memorable experience. 

Lily b have a sophisticated client, who is capable of dealing with information quickly and of deciding what she likes and doesn't like. Much of the stock has limited hanger appeal and it was crucial to the success of the event that we showed customers how to wear the outfits.  In order to maintain interest and momentum, we produced a very fast, dynamic show lasting just 45 minutes but showing over 50 outfits.

A variety of music was used ranging from classical pieces to retro 1970's tracks with modern dance and pop, which this took the audience on an emotional roller-coasters.
