you have 30 seconds to impress!
What do you do?
According to research, we base more than 55% of our initial impression of someone, purely on their appearance and it takes us less than 30 seconds to do so.
So in a competitive environment, that demands you take full advantage of every opportunity, can your people afford to make mistakes?
how much money your organisation spends on it's corporate image and how much it spends on it's people's image?
Have you got the balance right?Understanding
what messages we are sending to people by the way in which we dress, is
an important factor in our success.
Yet,
it
is frequently over looked or undervalued.
By
using an interactive approach to our corporate events, we highlight the
importance of appearance and start allowing your people to understand
what messages they are sending to the world.
By
demonstrating their innate ability to judge someone else, purely on
appearance, we begin to open the delegates mind to how they are
perceived by the people around them.
What’s more, they can learn why people react to them they way that they do and how to create different emotions by the way that they dress.
pure
can show your senior executives, exactly what they should be wearing to
make the most impressive, first impressions.
And
that does not mean a uniform.
We will work closely to establish exactly which colours and shapes suit each person best and we will help and encourage them to develop their own personal style.
Not
only will your team stand out from the crowd for all the right reasons,
but because they know that they look great, they will exude confidence
and will perform better.
Client
Comment:
pure's
services are not just reserved for your senior staff. Your new recruits
and junior staff will undergo a substantial amount of training and if
they are customer facing they will need to know all about dealing with
people.
But
do they know what image they are creating or what their appearance is
saying to your customers?
Plus,
pure can show them how to get the most out of their wardrobe. We will
analyse their needs, their shape and their colouring and show your
people how to look great, even if they are on a tight budget.
Case
Study:
The pure team created an
entertaining half day event involving a colour analysis for each
delegate, interactive discussion on image at work, a light hearted
diagnosis of delegates ‘panic shopping’ habits and their ‘wardrobe
mistakes’ and a fashion show demonstrating how to use accessories to
create lots of looks from one or two outfits. The day was rounded off
with a look at the latest trends and how to use these influences to
create stylish, fashionable outfits for work and socialising.
’All the
girls really enjoyed your session - and so did I. I thought that your
presentation was very good, you are obviously very relaxed and the
humour was well placed. The
clothes were lovely and very tempting…I have suggested that this would
be a good workshop for our own training team … All in all, a really
successful day!’
